On behalf of the entire organization, it is my pleasure to welcome you to The National Students Athletic Society (NSAS). I would like to take this opportunity to say how appreciative NSAS is for all of your support. I would also like to take this opportunity to share my background with you.
My background involving over 35 years in Human Services in Directors positions, Coaching, Talent Scout, Recreation, Middle, High School and Collegiate Education, Mentoring and played as a former Professional Athlete has been committed and fulfilling, to say the least. To that end I am now the CEO and Founder of NSAS.
After earning my degree at Ohio University and over 18 years of researching and learning about and developing a 501 (c)(3)’s, non-profit whose goal is to enhance, prepare, motivate all athletes and families for a lifetime of success in a rapidly changing global society, while ensuring the athletes learn how to balance academics, athletics, mental awareness, the ability to acknowledge it, and interpersonal development skills.
This organization serves as an anchor to support, service, educate, and most important advocate (a voice) for the developmental growth of student-athletes both in the academic and athletic arenas.
NSAS’s mission is to create a framework for learning, athletics, and job opportunities that shall enhance the potential, self-esteem, and dignity of the athlete’s and their families. We will create an environment that promotes educational literacy, has supportive programs, and offer services that support optimal development and growth.
We will strive for a safe, nurturing program where athletes may develop physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually, and mentally without inhibitions.
With this high aim NSAS “Presents Pathway to Promise,” a great opportunity to serve!
