BTRT and DYD have formed a unique partnership in Baltimore city that focuses on Hope and Healing. We are meeting people where they are and are helping to eliminate the barriers big and small that have been preventing these caregivers and families from moving forward with reaching their individual and family’ goals. Our partnership is unique because we combine their trauma and healing with a wraparound approach providing not just resources but peer support. Helping caregivers and family members connect the pieces and navigate the systems to better benefit and support their loved ones is our mission. Providing the assistance and support of a peer is an invaluable link that has been missing for these individuals. We will continue to train and support individuals to empower and equip them to better serve their families and communities with the partnership and utilization of other committed organizations. BTRT is currently looking for volunteers that are passionate about Baltimore city and its residents; to learn more about the work or volunteer opportunities please contact Dr. Humphrey at 443-418-8898 or Sabrina Martin at 443-850-8218. BTRT also offers a 4-hour trauma training to individuals for $125 which includes training information, completion certificate, lunch, and a discounted rate for groups or organizations.
